Maternity Cover - Residential Conveyancing Solicitor/Cilex

We are currently recruiting for a Conveyancing Solicitor/Cilex to join our busy Winton team. This role will be covering maternity leave on an FTC.

The successful candidate must have good organisation with strong administration skills. Be able to produce a large quantity of work and complete tasks to strict deadlines. With strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.
 
Paralegal

Aldridge Brownlee are seeking a Paralegal to join our Commercial Conveyancing Department. The applicant must have a genuine passion for legal work and will be highly motivated, very organised, and able to work under pressure as part of a busy team. The successful applicant must also be flexible and willing to undertake varied responsibilities. Good IT skills are essential.

Compliance Officer

As a compliance officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless onboarding process for our clients compliant with Anti-money laundering regulations.
 
The key tasks and duties:

•    Perform thorough Client Due Dilligence and Anti-Money Laundering assessments for new and existing clients.
•    Investigate and analyse client backgrounds, source of wealth, source of funds and business activities.
•    Monitor and report any unusual transactions or activities to the AML officer.
•    Communicate CDD and AML requirements to client and address any queries and concerns.
•    Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure a positive onboarding experience.
•    Maintain an accurate audit trail of all CDD and AML activities.
•    Work closely with the MLRO, COLP and COFA to implement best practices across the firm.
•    Undertake other duties as required.
 
Skills and experience:
 
•    Proven experience in client onboarding, CDD and AML procedures is preferrable.
•    Deep understanding of CDD and AML procedures.
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•    Ability to work independently.
•    Analytical and problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
•    Ability to understand discrepancies in data.
•    Strong IT skills.
 
Hours and salary
 
The salary range is up to £30,000 per year depending on experience.
This is a full time (35 hours), office-based position, working Monday to Friday. However, part-time and some flexible working candidates will be considered.

Marketing and Events Executive

We are looking for someone to join our team as a marketing and events executive who specialises in digital branding and is able to support marketing events to enhance our brand awareness. 

The role:
•    Creating content for our website and social media including blogs, infographics etc
•    Helping us to collect online reviews
•    Updating our metadata
•    Monitoring and reporting on marketing analytics
•    Preparation of marketing materials for events
•    Working with our team to arrange marketing events with contacts and clients
•    Updating our website
•    Drafting and sending press releases

Experience:
Ideally you will have experience of digital marketing as well as traditional or print media. 
You will collaborate with our team and get to know our firm with the support of a supervisor. This role would suit someone newly qualified from college/university or a more experienced person who either has or has not worked previously with a law firm.

Qualifications:
Marketing or associated qualification e.g. CIM

Required Skills:
•    Knowledge of marketing and SEO principles and best practices 
•    Proficiency in using analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics)
•    Knowledge of graphic design for content production
•    Good IT skills - able to use Microsoft Office packages
•    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, in person, by telephone, and by email. 
•    Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload 
•    Excellent proof-reading and written and verbal communication skills 

Pay: £23,000 pro rata 

Hours and Location: Full time 35 hours per week Monday to Friday. You will also need to live within a commutable distance, with a full driving licence and transportation as you will need to travel to events and between our offices. This role will be office based although some remote work may be agreed.
